RPTN.Net also runs a IRC Network called RPTN, formerly known as the RebelChat IRC Network, we renamed the IRC Network in 2005 for “Political” reasons. The RebelChat IRC Network was originally created in 1999 after the ChatNet fiasco’s of the late 90’s. The RebelChat IRC Network always kept a low profile but non the less remained active all these years. We developed various services that never really remained in use for very long. Most users that came buy where looking for help or etc… since most of the RebelChat staff where old time IRC’ers that had rebelled away from the big 12 IRC network of those days because of their bad politics (or policies) and the typical “oper abuse” of those days. IRC sure has changed since then, yet it has remained the same.
